Get to know Outside of Sunday

Outside of Sunday is a New Zealand-based Christian podcast hosted by me, Christa. I'm a wife, mum of three, and an imperfect Christian who loves the Lord and His Word. I’m not a pastor or a Bible school graduate. I started this podcast simply to encourage fellow believers - especially women - to follow Jesus and grow in their faith in the midst of the mess of real life.
 

Because only thinking about Jesus, worshipping, or opening our Bibles on Sundays won’t grow our faith. And I know it can be tough - I've absolutely been there. We go through seasons where even thinking about praying feels too heavy. But we serve a God who sees us in those struggles. He’s gracious, patient, and present as we navigate our faith. I’d love to walk alongside you and encourage you in your journey.
 

Since launching in September 2020, Outside of Sunday has become a space for honest, faith-filled conversations about trauma, theology, prayer, motherhood, and the power of personal testimony. There’s vulnerability, truth, laughter, and above all - a desire to glorify God.
 

With over 100 episodes and a loyal weekly audience, this little podcast has grown into a beautiful community of women hungry to live out their faith daily. In 2024 and 2025, FeedSpot.com named Outside of Sunday the #1 Christian podcast in New Zealand - and in 2025, the #1 women’s podcast too. That continues to blow me away. But the recognition is just a bonus. I’ve watched God use these conversations to bless, convict, and grow people in ways I never imagined. I’ll never stop being thankful for the opportunity to be a part of what the Lord is doing through Outside of Sunday.
